Prerequisite Role: Canvas Course Instructor or Canvas Admin
Qwickly Attendance is an attendance tracking software that integrates with Canvas courses. In order for instructors to start using Qwickly Attendance for attendance check in sessions in their Canvas course they must first set the initial Qwickly Attendance settings for that course. This process has to happen once for each Canvas Course. Settings can later be modified as needed.
1. Go to your Canvas Course
2. Click on the Qwickly Attendance link on the left vertical course navigation menu
3. Begin Setup

4. In the Qwickly Preferences set:
- User (Student) Sort Order
- Check in Timer (suggested) - timer automatically closes the check in session once the allotted time is reached. Otherwise the instructor will need to manually close the session. suggested)
- Check in type: Require Pin or Require QR Code (suggested)
- All other settings under Attendance Statuses, Automatic Emails, Grading can be set to your preferences at any time.

Once the settings are set. Click Save Settings
You are now ready to run Check In sessions for your classes.
To start a check in session click Attendance -> Check In -> Start Check in
